He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Leonard Swanson and Mary Swanson (Fenwich); his wife Lillian Stickles-Swanson of West Winfield; his children, Charles H Swanson (Nicole) of Kingston, MA, Wendy Elliott (Dennis) of Milford and Kasondra Chambers (Weston) of Smyrna, TN; his stepson Gregory (Paula); his grandchildren, Eleanor, Raymond, Oliver Swanson of Kingston, MA, Blake, Emily Elliott of Milford, Parker and Zachary Chambers of Smyrna, TN; his siblings, Thomas Swanson (Joyce) of Sprout Brook and Melodie Swanson of Gloversville; his close friends, Frank Druse of Springfield and Dana Cochran of Ithaca; and also Leonard Swanson (Viola Swanson). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VFW 60 Main Street Cooperstown, NY 13326 in memory of Charles.
