He was predeceased by: his father Gerard Merriman. He is survived by: his mother Beverly Seymour Merriman; and his siblings, Gerard Merriman II (Mary) and Julia Lukas (Bernard). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins; a lifetime of friends.
