He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J Turek, Sr. and Rose Turek (Flint); his brother-in-law James Scozzafava; and his son-in-law Christopher Whalen. He is survived by: his wife Anne Turek (Leslie); his children, Allison Whalen (Turek) of Westport and Jonathan Turek (Kristen) of Chazy; his grandchildren, Spenser, Sophia Whalen, Eric Turek (Lauren), Kassidy Turek and Peyton Turek; his sister Cheryl Scozzafaza; his nieces, Christine Wilson (Jamie) and Carrie Langey (Michael); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sydney, Samuel Langey and Kyle Wilson. He is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
A graveside service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the Westport Rescue Squad and Fire District.
