It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David E Schmidt of Westport, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on January 3, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Fred Schmidt and Edith Schmidt; his son Kurt Schmidt; his daughter-in-law Michelle of Baldwinsville, NY; his daughter Karen Rainville; his son-in-law Tom; his grandsons, Joshua and Jacob Rainville; and his former life partner Patricia Schmidt of Chula Vista, CA..
