He is survived by : his wife Joan of Farragut; his daughter Michele; his son-in-law Mitchell Bernstein of Brooklyn; his daughter Denise; his son-in-law Russell Van Patten of Knoxville; and his grandchildren, Alex Van Patten of Boston and Katie Van Patten of Tokyo, Japan..
