In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Irene leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Irene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Bania; her sister Virginia Babkiewicz (late Stanley); her nephew Paul Babkiewicz (Florence); and her sisters-in-law, Irene, Marge Bania and Sophia Caiazzo.
She is survived by: her son Joseph "Jay" Bania (Maria); and her sister-in-law Adele Balon.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home (1671 Maple Rd, Williamsville, NY 14221).
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 8:45AM from St. Gregory the Great Church followed by interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. in lieu of flowers donations in Irene's memory may be made to the SPCA of Erie County.
