The passing of Joan E. Mathews (Williamsville, New York) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 25, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Mathews; her son Steven Mathews (Michelle); her parents, Salvatore DeMarti and Louise DeMarti; and her siblings, Pearl Forbes (late Ray), Marie Spong (late Ron), Richard DiMarti (Ruth) and Jack DiMarti (Celeste).
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Mathews (Linda) and Wendy Migliore (Michael). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Gregory the Great Church (250 St Gregory Ct, Williamsville, NY 14221).
