She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Jackson and Thelma Jean Hunnicutt Jackson; her son Christopher Robert Cahoon; and her granddaughter Lailah. She is survived by: her husband Robert Cahoon; her children, Casie DeWispelaere (Mike) of Wolcott and Craig Cahoon (Colleen) of Webster; her siblings, Randy Jackson (Kim) of Wolcott and Sandy Zee Briggs of Lakeland, TN; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Evan, Owen, Callahan, Mackenzie and Cohen. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and the many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home (5025 N Main St, North Rose, NY 14516). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the North Rose United Methodist Church (5050 N Main St, North Rose, NY 14516).
In honor of her generous spirit and courageous battle, contributions may be made in Shelly's name to the Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14642.
