Though Dolores may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dolores touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Stepanovich and Alice Stepanovich (Yovish); and her brothers, John (Mary) and Gerald Stepanovich (Patricia). She is survived by : her sons, Michael (Susan), David (Maureen), Jeffrey (Beth), John (Patricia) and Peter Lovell (Donna); her brother David Stepanovich (Norma); and her husband James A. Lovell. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Beney Funeral Home of Syosset On (79 Berry Hill Rd, Syosset, NY 11791). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Edward Confessor Church (205 Jackson Ave, Syosset, NY 11791).
