Powers; his children, Judy (Ron Kopczynski), Jeanne (Steve Beebe), Jacklyn (Al Reep) and Jeremy Heckart (Jackie Spencer); his grandchildren, Serena Kopczynski, Paula Kopczynski, Jessica LeBaron (Brian), Nicholas Pucci (Sarah), Abraham Heckart (Hayley), Adam Heckart, Alyssa Fimbres (Brandon), Kyle Reep (Keri), Erin Reep, Keanan Heckart (Sydney), Zachary Heckart, Sara Stanifird, Moses Stanifird and Eli Stanifird; his great grandchildren, Aubrie, Hanna, Taylor, Dominic, Jasper, Lainie, Owen, Jaxon and Liliana; his siblings, Mary Butterfield, Paul Powers, Eleanor Porter, Larry Powers (Bev), Sandra Powers, Sharon Kingsley and Ruth Mayorga; his sisters-in-law, Audrey Dixon and Nathalie Dyring; his wife Lottie Irene Dennis; his son James R. Heckart; his grandsons, Robert Heckart and Paul Stanifird; his brother William Powers; his in-laws, Ida and Roy Dennis; his siblings-in-law, Richard Dyring, Lyle, Duane Dennis, Ralph Porter, Joseph Kingsley, Cleo, Butterfield, June Dennis, Mary Powers and Betty Powers; and also Cecelia Powers. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the H. P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home - Woodhull (1607 Main St, Woodhull, NY 14898). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Corning Meals on Wheels.
