It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frank Joseph Prial III of Woodstock, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Joseph Prial, II and Marguerite Robinson Prial. He is survived by : his children, Courtney Gillies of San Francisco, CA, Christopher Prial of New York, NY, Katherine Leahy of Trumbull, CT and Lauren Prial of New Canaan, CT. He is also survived by nine siblings; and five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Hudson Valley Hospice or The Stamford Hospital Foundation.

“Like some others, I just happened upon this sad event. I was a teammate of Frank's at Georgetown. He was often a defender and as a goalkeeper, we were reliant on each other. He was a fierce player and took nothing from anyone. Frank also was a somewhat iconic figure riding his motorcycle through the quiet streets of Georgetown. A memorable guy and I hope his family and friends have found peace with his departure.”
