We are sad to announce that on May 8, 2020, at the age of 98, Frederick Golja (Worcester, New York), born in East Worcester, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his former life partner Johanna Alex; his son Gary (Barb Golja); his father Pop Pop; his children, Karen Hermanowski of Worcester, Fred (Mary Beth Golja) and JoAnn (Bill Fredette); his grandchildren, Rachel, Mike Elliott, Colleen Golja, William, Michael and Sebastian Fredette; his great grandchild Molly Johanna Elliott; his sister Sophie LaPorte of Florida; his wife Jennie; his son-in-law Robert Hermanowski; and his siblings, John, Frank, Albina and Justine. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
