He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Behrens and Orietta Behrens Sr. (Van Wormer); his wife Catherine Behrens (Bazicki); and his siblings, Charlotte Hunt, Orietta Wolf and Earl "Bill" Behrens.
He is survived by : his son Robert Behrens (Nancy); his stepsons, Daniel Embree and John Embree; and his close friend Margaret Decker.
