As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Maria may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George Demetrakopoulos; her daughter Alexandra Tsiolis (Tommy); and her siblings, Soula Lolis, Takis Dimitrakakis, Kiki Triantafillis, George Dimas and Georgia Moundroukas.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church (15 Leroy Ave, Yonkers, NY 10705). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Prophet Elias Church (15 Leroy Ave, Yonkers, NY 10705).
