He is survived by: his wife Valerie Lacey; his children, Michael Joseph McHugh and Caitlin McHugh; his stepsons, Paul Jannicelli, Andrew Jannicelli and Adam Jannicelli; his parents, Frank McHugh and Ann Morrison McHugh; and also Lisa McHugh. He is also survived by seven siblings, as well as his adoring nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to a scholarship presently being established in Mike's honor.
