He was predeceased by: his parents, John Collins Sr. and Cecil Collins (Baughman); his wife Marilyn Sue Collins; his son Timothy Ernest Collins; and his siblings, Earl Collins, John Collins, Jr., Betty Rodabaugh (Collins), Ellen Price (Collins), Patty Collins, Millie Price (Collins) and Carol Coons (Collins).
He is survived by: his children, Michael Collins of Ada, Cheryl Mattias (Joseph) of Hudsonville, MI and Terry Collins of Ada; his grandchildren, Philip Mattias, Emily Mattias and Andrew Mattias; and his sister Joyce LaRue (Collins). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
