He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Raymond and Donna Long (Shrider); his wife Alma M. Moyers; his brother Edison Long; and his great grandchild Autumn Brady.
He is survived by: his children, Doyle Long of Ada, Nolan Long (Nelson Harper) of Xenia and Carma Sheely (Michael) of Wapakoneta; his grandchildren, Adam Long (Monica Biller), Abigail Gill, Seth Long (Jen), Alyse Almadani (Bassel), Simon Long (Ashlie), Jordan Long, Nelson Long (Alison) and Kiersten Tharp (Christopher); and his sisters, E. Joan Zimmer of Ada and Sharon Quay of Kenton. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
