She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Earl and Hannah Mildred Paynter (McMahon); and her siblings, Nancy, Virginia, Ruth, Buddy, Clifford and Richard.

She is survived by : her husband John Douglas King Sr.; her children, John D. King Jr. (Traci) of Dresden, Katrina King (Terry Corder) of Coshocton and Sonja Davis (James) of Coshocton; her grandchildren, Minda Peterson (Cody), Casey King (Keyonna), Breanna, Kiersten and Brooklyn Davis; and her great grandchildren, Jace and Kolby Peterson.
