She was predeceased by : her parents, John Black and Ada Bell West (Wisecarver); her husband Clarence E. Mitchell Sr.; her children, Susan Knicely and Jeffery Mitchell; and her siblings, Roy Black, Goldie Jadwin, Faye Dutro, Mae Hittle and Thelma Black.
She is survived by : her sons, Clarence E. Mitchell Jr. (Beverly) of Zanesville, Ralph R. Mitchell (Cindy) of Norwich, Samuel R. (Andrea) of Adamsville and Daniel J. Mitchell; and her children-in-law, Kenneth Knicely and Susan Mitchell. She is also survived by caregiver for over 2 years; eighteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
