She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Makara and Katarina Makara; and her siblings, Walter, Stephan and Antoine Makara.
She is survived by: her spouse Wasyl Salasz; her daughter Millie Fedeckyj (Myron); her granddaughter Christina Allio (Ryan); and her great grandchild Sloane Emory Allio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
