He was predeceased by: his sister Ellen; and his daughter Heather. He is survived by: his wife Lana; his daughter Lisa Kane (Tom); his siblings, Sam (Lora), Phil (Marsha) and Mary; and his grandchildren, Devin, Sofia and Blake.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for the care of Carl's grandchildren c/o the funeral home.
