He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Margaret and Clifford Ricks. He is survived by: his children, Adrian Ricks, Arlen Brooks, Arieane Ricks of Streamwood, IL, April Ricks and Angela Brooks; his stepsons, Ricky Brooks, Christopher Curry and Jameel Fardan of Akron; and his siblings, Donald Ricks (Jacqueline) of Akron, Gwendolyn Spencer (Robert) of Lumberton, NJ and Darlene Taylor (John) of El Paso, TX. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
