He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn; his son James; his granddaughter Sarah K. Bertsch; his parents, Magdalene Wilson and James; and his siblings, Isabel Mack, Margaret Scrimgeour and Alex Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy and Margaret Lytz (Michael); and his stepdaughter Elisa Pierson (Jon). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
