He is survived by: his wife Karin Hagele of Ellerslie; his mother Violet Carey of Akron, OH; his brothers, Mike Carey (Tami) of Akron, Steve Carey (Ann) of Akron and Mark Carey of Akron; his siblings' children, Megan (Dan) of Washington, DC and Tyler Carey (Kati); and also, Kelsey of Marietta and Ava. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
