He was predeceased by: his parent William Gleisinger; his wife Nancy; and his siblings, Marguerite, Joann, Janice and Bernard.

He is survived by: his parent Mabel Gleisinger; his children, David, Gregory (Kris), Julie, Mary Backer (Jeffrey), Michael Stewart and Elizabeth Stewart (Robert); and his brothers, Joseph and Edward. He is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren.
