He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Anna Lou. He is survived by: his wife Robin; his children, Sandi Brown, John E. Brown and Ed J. Brown; and his sisters, LaDonna Grace (Jim) of Akron, Delores Hetzler (Chuck) of Clinton and Eileen Tatonetti of Alabama. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
