It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elder Ronald L. Henry Jr. (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Henry and LaVeta Henry; his great-grandaunt Mother Alma R. Walker; his grandmothers, Myrtle Pople and Betty Moore; and also Elder Henry Brunson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Rachel Brown (Michael) and Mariesa Moore-Gentry (Wesley); and his siblings' children, Ronnell Henry, Gavin Moore-Gentry, Taneal Moore-Gentry, Makenna Moore-Gentry and Michaela Brown. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, church family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of God Militant Pillar and Ground of Truth (200 Cole Ave, Akron, OH 44301). A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 2:00 PM.
