He was predeceased by: his father Henry Willmer; his stepmother Clara Willmer; his mother Theresa Willmer; his son Robert Bruce Willmer; and his former wife Melba Jean Willmer.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Willmer; his children, Donna Cox and Michael Willmer (Kelly); his stepchildren, Catherine Kuhn, Cynthia Carr, Christina Mattingly (Marc) and Michael Rejkowski (Tina); his siblings, Erwin Willmer (Evelyn) and Caroline Jones; and his grandchildren, Amanda Wiggins (Dustin) and Henry John Willmer. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
