He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Murdock Conrad and Jay Homer Murdock Sr.; his stepfather Joseph Conrad; his former wives, Mildred "Dolly" Murdock and Margie Murdock; his stepson Gary Pyle; and his grandson Arpad Andras Batizy.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Batizy (Arpad); his stepchildren, Jessa Olson (Ron) and Bruce Pyle (Susan); his grandchildren, Ann-Christine Talowsky, Andrea Allen, Caron Ford, Mark Olson, Margit Batizy and Miklos Batizy; and his great grandchildren, Anna, Grace Madigan, Thomas Allen, Katelyn, Bailey Ford, Cooper Talowsky, Isaak and Blake Olson.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or AMVETS.
