He is survived by : his wife Patricia A. Idley; his children, Felicia France (Jamil), Joseph W. Idley, Jr. (Elena), Thomas A. Idley (Crystal), Shawn A. Idley and Marcus A. Idley; his grandchildren, Paris A. Idley, Josiah Idley, Tahj Idley, Taiki Idley, Shawn A. Idley, Jr., Kaleb Lopp-Idley, Briacia Idley, Jaila France, Doriauna France, Marie Idley, Crystal Idley, Chianti Idley, Callie Idley, Sai Idley and Blaique Lopp; his great grandchildren, Elaina Martin and Messiah Lopp; his niece Victoria Smart; and his nephew David Smart. He is also survived by friends and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 26th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stewart & Calhoun Funeral Home (529 W Thornton St, Akron, OH 44307). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 27th 2021 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
