It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Cook of Akron, Ohio, who passed away on June 30, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James Chalfant and Anne Chalfant; her son Joe, Jr.; and her brother David Chalfant. She is survived by : her brother Richard Chalfant (Marjorie); her daughters, Anne Keith (Walt) and Sue Dinitz (Jeff); her daughter-in-law Karen Cook; her grandchildren, Katie Keith Dettling (Grant), Mike Dinitz (Desiree), Amy Dinitz Lee (David), Tom Dinitz (Stacy), Carrie Cook (Mike) and Casey Cook; and her great grandchild Alex. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
