He was predeceased by : his parents, Oretha Brown and John W. Brown Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Mae E. Brown; his son Leon H. Brown Jr. (Carla Brown); his grandchildren, Michelle Anderson (Tom Anderson), Mycal Brown (Katie Gartner), Seth Sanders and Matthew Brown; and his sister Delores Saunders (late Russell Saunders). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
