It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Syracopoulos (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on September 1, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Willemsen and Marguerite Willemsen. She is survived by: her husband Dean; her children, John Steven Syracopoulos (Ellen) and Katherine Elena Conley (Garret); her grandsons, Leo, George, Gunnar and Killian; her siblings, Jan Willemsen, Michael Willemsen (Jan), Margie Ritter (James) and Karen Gokel (Dale); and her friend Bonnie Trickett. She is also survived by her children and her grateful husband who said on more than one occasion that though his mother and father.
In lieu of flowers, Mary Lou has asked that contributions be made to St. Vincent de Paul Church and Hospice of the Western Reserve.
