With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman Thurmer (Akron, Ohio), born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 2, 2018 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Rita; and his siblings, Bud, Ruth and Juanita.

He is survived by: his wife Vina Lucinda Thurmer; his children, Carol Lea D'Andrea (James), Norman William Thurmer (Bill) and Richard Allen Thurmer (Charity); and his significant other Bandit. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren & nine great-grandchildren.
