It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara George (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on July 31, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sara George to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Merritt and Vivian Carney (Albritton); her husband Ray George; her grandson Joseph Wawrzynski; and her sisters, Janice Horn and Jean Goodson.

She is survived by : her children, Megan McDaniel (Joe), Molly Wawrzynski (Edward), Andrew George (LuAnn) and Melissa Gullion (Kevin); her grandchildren, Matthew Brock (Rachel), Jennifer Crissey (Matt), Abby Brock, Jacob, Rachel, Meredith Wawrzynski, Alexander, Sarahanne George, Katie, Molly, Emily and Anne Gullion; her great grandchildren, Makenzie, Kolten, Matthew and Sophia; and her siblings-in-law, John Horn, Darrell Goodson and Kay Wagner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Green Meadows Nursing Home, Memory Care Unit.
