He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Vaughn and Laura; his brother Robert Vaughn; and his sons, Anthony Davis and Tolliver Vaughn.
He is survived by: his wife Jonilon Vaughn; his children, Marketta Turner, Darshonda Vaughn, Tamara, Tara, Tasha Davis, Brianna Vaughn, Marce, Compton-Vaughn, Charelle Vaughn, Saunja Mayfield and Brandon Evans; his siblings, Wilbur Vaughn (Minnie), Johnny Moore (Shirley), McNeil Thompson (Diedre) and Maxine Thompson; his mother-in-law Deloris Evans; his siblings-in-law, Rene Hilton (Donnell) and John Evans; and his cousin Jessie Elease Jones. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
