He was predeceased by: his siblings, George A. Jr., Donnie, Bennie Joyce, Anna, Barbara, Sue and Mary Jo.

He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, Kelly Boyd, Leanne Hughes (Scott) and James Glunt; and his granddaughters, Lynnessa Hughes and Jessica West. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Heart Association.
