He was predeceased by: his parents, William Strait and Louella Strait (McPherson); his sons, Timothy Strait and Douglas Strait; and his siblings, Dorothy Knapp, Herbert Strait and Bobby Blake.
He is survived by: his wife Ramona Strait (Ward); his children, Darlene Floyd (Willie), Cheryl Strait (Dave), Michele Coe, Rhonda Dawson Dickson (Ronnie), Curtis Strait (Lori) and Ronnie Anderson (Amber); and his siblings, Thomas Strait, Barbara Twaddle (Gerald) and Elaine Woolf (Tom). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.
