She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Lloyd and Marie Livengood (Ruffner); her husband Karl F Mayer; her son Daniel K. Mayer; and her siblings, Carol Galbraith, Margery Turner, Jerry Livengood, Donald Ruffner and Richard Livengood.
She is survived by: her friend Alice Crist; her son Gordon Mayer (Pam Hahn) of Alliance; her sister Joyce Shull of Mobile, AL; her granddaughters, Gina Keifer (Dave) of Ocean Pines, MD and Kelly Mayer of Asheville; and her great grandchildren, Jackson and Kennedy Keifer.
Betty J. Mayer, 96, of Alliance, died peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer's at 12:15 a.m. Thursday December 10, 2020 at McCrea Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
