He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bennett and Mary Bennett (Karper); his son Michael Bennett; his former wife Kathleen Bennett; and his siblings, Robert, Richard, Billy Bennett and Mary Woodward.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Hagan (Joseph) of Atwater; his grandchildren, Katie Rogers, Heather Bennett, Tammy Starzyk, Angela Briggs and Joe Hagan; his great grandchildren, Norah Hagan, Ivy Bennett, Lucy Briggs and Jack Starzyk; his stepchildren, Diana Granger (David), Deborah Ware (Bruce Smith), Larry Lehman and Gary Lehman; and his sister Anne Kennedy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
