She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander P. Payne and Ruth Payne (Lewis); her husband Oscar Black; her children, Pamela Black and Ernest Black; and her siblings, Alex, Ruth, Andrew, Burley, Lonnie, Norman, Edithann, Carl and Butch.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Black of Cincinnati, Deborah Young (Robert) of Alliance, Devon Patterson (Marion) of Phoenix, Chris Black (Christina) of Alliance, Michael Black (Angela) of Alliance and Stephen Black (Aubrey) of Alliance; and her siblings, Neola Jones of Cleveland and Hezekiah Payne of Baltimore. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
