He was predeceased by: his parents, Clee Woodburn and Ruth Woodburn (Minger); his son Billy Woodburn; his wife Dixie Woodburn; his brother Donald Woodburn; and his granddaughter Rebecca Woodburn.

He is survived by: his sons, Dave Woodburn (Lisa) of Deerfield, Howard "Jamie" Woodburn of Alliance and Phillip Woodburn of Alliance; and his siblings, James Woodburn and Betty Wilson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
