He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Simpson and Elsie Simpson; his brother-in-law Gary Simpson; and his son-in-law Bob Oliver. He is survived by: his wife Shelley Burress (Simpson); his children, Jeff Uplinger (Corine), Sherry Uplinger, Bryan Burress (Kelli), Adriane Mandakunis (Kenny) and Lori Mohr (Will Green); his grandchildren, Robert, Gabby, Haley, Lauren, Nico, Brandon, Jennifer, Alyssa, Austin, Clayton, Stacy and Amanda; his sister Judy Coates; and his brother-in-law Walt Coates. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
