She was predeceased by: her brother William Carl Jr.. She is survived by: her parents, William E. Carl and Edna Ellen Carl (Unkefer); her husband Gerald S. Chappell; her children, Deborah Boyce, Sandra Kay Moreland, Wayne E. Adams, Jr. and Mark E. Chappell; and her grandchildren, Thomas Lee Brant, Tammy Sue Brant, Stacy Morgan, Jennifer Oswald, John Scott Moreland II and Laura Worley. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
