He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Batten and Donna Batten; and his brother Tom Batten. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Renee Batten of Akron; his sibling's children, Dan (Michelle) of Westerville, Christopher of Akron, Melissa of Akron and Michelle of Kent; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gavin, Kelly, Charlie and Molly.
