He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Garnes and Elma Garnes (Parsons); his son Joseph Bryan Garnes; his siblings, Roy, Maggie, Edith and Tiny; and his granddaughter Danielle Garnes.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Garnes (Watson); his sons, Kenneth Garnes and Jason Garnes; his grandchildren, Bartley Garnes and Marisa Mozden; his great grandchildren, Braydin, Kaydin Garnes, Maddilynn, Marlee and Maribelle Mozden; and his siblings, Lawrence Garnes (Carolyn), Nelson Garnes (Mary) and Dolly Morrison (Gene) of Minerva. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
