She was predeceased by: her parents, George Held and Kathryn Marie Held; her husbands, Robert J. Burns of November and Dick Vandal; her children, Paul B. Burns and Denise Burns Carver; her stepson Hank Vandal; her daughter-in-law Gay Ann Burns; her grandchildren, Douglas S. Vandal and Tammi Benning; and her siblings, Dorothy Stuchell and Robert Dobson.
She is survived by: her children, Bobbie Jo of Alliance, Linda of Alliance, Mark Burns of Alliance and Tina Vandal (Richard) of Alliance; her stepsister Mary Lou Higgens; her sister Barbara Lair; and her sisters-in-law, Suzy and Billie Harbold. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter.
