It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lela Gibson (Alliance, Ohio), born in Hacker Valley, West Virginia, who passed away on February 19, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Evert and Agnes Pearl Garvin (House); her husband Edward J. Gibson; and her brothers, Russell Garvin, Oral Garvin and Frank Garvin.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Louise Julian of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, Robert Gibson (Janice) of Alliance, Evert Gibson of Alliance, Bill Gibson (Dorothy) of Canton, Dale Gibson (Kathleen) of Minerva, David Lee Gibson (Susan) of Louisville, Roy Gibson of Alliance, Darrell Gibson (Christine) of Mount Sterling, Sam Gibson (Cathy) of Alliance and Gary Gibson of Alliance; and her sister Emogene DiBattista. She is also survived by 84 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
