She was predeceased by: her father Robert Nicholson; and her brother Dale Nicholson. She is survived by: her mother Barbara Pittman of Detroit; her son Dan Gilfort of Raleigh; her granddaughters, Carlisle Gilfort of Tampa and Ashleigh Gilfort of Tampa; and her siblings, Robert Nicholson II of Alliance, Terry Nicholson of Akron, Wayne Nicholson of Detroit, Janet Stovall of Alliance, Diane Magee of Mississippi and April Durham of Detroit. She is also survived by cousins, aunts and uncles.
Per Linda's request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for her granddaughters' college fund.
