She was predeceased by: her husband Carl; her parents, Wilbur Nicholson and Golda Nicholson; her brother John; and her sisters-in-law, Ana Boyle and Shirlee Carlson.
She is survived by: her children, Philip Orwick (Joni) of Carmel and Nancy McCamon (Gary) of Bluffton; her grandchildren, David Orwick (Beth) of St Louis, Karen Bucher of Chicago, Ryan McCamon (Victoria) of Silver Spring and Kristi Valentine (Bryan) of Fort Drum; and her great grandchildren, Johanna Orwick, Calvin, Margot Bucher, Brynn, Riley McCamon, Ace, Emma Ruth and Mac Valentine. She is also survived by several nephews and a niece.
